Value for Money Evaluations (11) [EN]

This workshop introduces the economic perspective in evaluating public programs and policies. The emphasis is on measurement of value for money with emphasis procedures such as cost-benefit (CBA), cost effectiveness (CEA) and cost-utility analysis (CUA). The workshop will discuss the measurement of net impact, attribution of outcomes to the program and accurate costing along the results chain. Examples will come from agri-environmental, labour market training, health and cultural programs. Special attention will be paid to the new value for money tool developed by Treasury Board.
